ABS plastics parts are three monomers of three monomers of acrylonitrile (A), butadiene (B) and styrene (S). The relative content of three monomers can be changed arbitrarily, and all kinds of resins are made. ABS has three components of common properties. A makes it resistant to chemical corrosion, heat resistance, and has a certain surface hardness. B makes it have high elasticity and toughness. S makes it have thermoplastic molding properties and improves electrical properties. Therefore, ABS plastic is a kind of material with easy material, good comprehensive performance, cheap price and wide use, "tough, hard and rigid". ABS plastics have been widely used in the manufacturing industry and chemical industry, such as machinery, electrical, textile, automobile, aircraft, ship and other manufacturing industries.
The structure of ABS resin consists of graft copolymer with elastomers as main chain and graft copolymer with main chain of rigid ABS resin, or a mixture of rubber elastomer and hard ABS resin. In this way, different structures show different properties. Elastomers show toughness of rubber. Rigid ABS resin shows rigidity, and can get high impact type, medium impact type, universal impact type and special impact type. Specifically, with the increase of B content (generally 5%~30%), the elasticity and impact resistance of the resin will increase, but the tensile strength, fluidity and weatherability will decrease. The content of resin AS (generally 70%~95%) increases, which can improve the surface gloss, mechanical strength, weatherability, heat resistance, corrosion resistance, electrical properties, processability and so on. And the impact strength and so on will drop. The proportion of A and B in the resin component is 30%~35%/80%~65%., respectively.

ABS resin is water resistant, inorganic salt, alkali and acid, insoluble in most alcohols and hydrocarbon solvents, but easily soluble in aldehydes, ketones, esters and some chlorinated hydrocarbons. The thermal deformation temperature of ABS resin is low combustible, and the weatherability is poor. The melting temperature is at 217~237 C, and the thermal decomposition temperature is above 250. Today's market modification of ABS materials, many are doped with water, recycled material. The performance of the customer's molding product is not very stable.
