Injection mold processing is to add the plastic mold, and mold along two vertical axis rotation and heating, a mould of plastic under the effect of gravity and thermal energy, evenly coated, gradually melt adhesive on the entire surface of the cavity, forming the shape of the required, to made by cooling. It refers to the process of producing semi-finished parts of a certain shape by pressing, injecting, cooling, disengaging and so on.
The injection molding process of plastic parts mainly consists of six stages, namely, mold filling - filling -(gas auxiliary, water auxiliary) protection pressure - cooling - mold opening - stripping.
These six stages directly determine the molding quality of the products, and these six phases are a complete continuous process.
Filling is the first step in the whole process of injection molding, and the time is from the mold closure to the injection mold, to the mold cavity filling to about 95%.In theory, the shorter the filling time, the higher the molding efficiency;However, in actual production, molding time (or injection speed) is subject to many conditions.
The protection pressure period:
The function of the pressure protection phase is to continuously apply pressure, compaction melt, and increase the density of plastic to compensate for plastic shrinkage.In the process of pressure protection, because the cavity is filled with plastic, the back pressure is high.In the process of holding compaction, the screw of injection molding machine can only move forward slowly, and the flow speed of plastic is also relatively slow. The flow is called the pressure protection flow.
The cooling stage:
In injection mold, the design of cooling system is very important.This is because the molded plastic products can only be cooled and solidified to a certain rigidity, so that the plastic products can not be deformed due to external forces.Because the cooling time takes up about 70%~80% of the whole molding cycle, the well-designed cooling system can greatly shorten the molding time, improve the injection productivity and reduce the cost.
Ejection is the last link in the injection molding cycle.Although the products have already been shaped cold setting, mold release or have very important influence on the quality of the products, demoulding way is undeserved, may cause the product uneven when parting, ejection causes deformation defects such as product.There are two main modes of demoulding: ejector and stripper.According to the structural characteristics of the product, we should choose the appropriate demodulation mode to ensure the quality of the products.
